Today a chiropractor visited us and explained to us what he does for a living and how we can improve on our own spines. I thought it was very interesting because it effected us directly. The chiropractor showed us ways such as 'deep breathing' to correct our posture, in effect, expanding our attention span. He was similar to the osteopath because their main focus was the brain and they talked a lot about muscle tension!
Our group progress is going quite well but I have realised there was much less time than the Term 1 cycle for Xplore.

Day 2
We have just finished listening to a guest speaker (an Osteopath). He started talking to us about what his job actually is, because not many people have ever heard of this profession. People with pain in their joints, bones or muscles go to him and he doesn't just look at the area of the pain, he looks at the entire body to discover what the actual cause of the pain is. And he, instead of just treating the pain, tries to relax the area that is causing a problem so that the body can heal itself which is more effective in the long run for people. It was quite interesting to hear what he was talking about and to see his demonstrations of helping people.

Day 1
Today we start our second instalment of Xplore.
We plan on getting our Gantt chart organised with post-it notes that have been provided by our kind co-ordinators. This will keep us organised and Puji is currently sorting out when our work should be done on the chart.
The task we decided to take on is Fast Foods which will broaden our knowlege on fast food and the impact it really makes.
